Why Yerevan?

If you plan to visit Armenia, you are most likely to enjoy your stay in the capital of the country- Yerevan. This is one of the coziest and oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. The tourists are typically fond of local people, food and culture. Another thing, that surely won’t leave you indifferent is Yerevan’s Nightlife. No matter if you are a party lover or prefer to have a decent glass of wine in the evening, the city will satisfy you in both cases.

Is Yerevan safe?

In summertime the city remains awake till the crack of dawn.  Luckily, safety in Yerevan is promising, since crime in Yerevan is on a pretty low level! People here are friendly and hospitable towards travelers.

Where should I go ?

There are several streets and places which are famous among both tourists and locals. The good news is that all those places are located in the city center, so you may take a lazy stroll from a restaurant to a pub. Here is the list of some of the most popular locations, let this be your personal  guide to Yerevan’s nightlife.

  • It’s no surprise that the Republic Square is the heart of the city. In the summer evenings it becomes even more attractive, due to the singing fountains which not only gracefully introduce you the greatest musical hits but also help to cope with summer heat.

  • After enjoying the fountains, you may take a walk at the Northern Avenue, which is full of touristic entertainment, souvenir shops and nice cafes.
  • If you’re wondering where to taste Armenian wines, look no more. Go to Saryan street, which is also called a Wine Street, since there are many great restaurants and wineries that will meet the standards of the most sophisticated gourmands.
  • Cascade. Hands down, the best views and best cocktails. Again, here you’ll find a wide range of cafes, and most of them work till late.
  • The Abovyan street - a superb place to eat and drink. Besides, the most popular clubs of the city are situated here.
  • Last, but not least, is the  Parpetsi Street, which is considered to be a road of pubs. Amazing place to meet with friends and forget your daily routines.
