Erebuni Fortress, also known as Arin Berd, was founded in 782 BC by the king of Urartian Armenia Argishti I. Today complex of Erebuni fortress is what the archeologists were able to restore from the ruins of the ancient city Erebuni. In 1950 the historians and archeologists found out that Arin Berd had been hiding 100 hectares of ancient city structures.
