Old Khndzoresk, which is located in the Syunik province, is a cave village of major historical importance. This ancient village that basically consists of manmade caves that people used to live in and according to the sources the area has managed to hold a population of 15,000 people. The village cave has been used from the ancient times and surprisingly up until the 1950s.
