The monastery of Sevanavank is one of the most beautiful and outstanding examples of Armenian medieval architecture. This monastery is a creation of a 9th century and consists of two monastic temples – Surb Arakelots and Surb Astvatsatsin and some khachkars (Armenian cross-stones) of historical importance.
